Arshad Warsi refused to work with the project of Mira Nair. “I have never given an audition for a role in my career so far. I don’t know how to do it. If somebody asks me to give audition I get completely flustered. Like Mira Nair, I love her, she is a lovely person, and she called me twice, and told me to give audition. I told her I can’t give it and that she can show some of my movies to the concerned person,” Arshad expressed.
“She had first called me for ‘Shantaram’ and for one more film, it was a Bengali detective film. If a time ever comes that without giving an audition I cannot get the film, I will be jobless. I can act in a film but I cannot audition,” he said. He will be coming with Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ alongside Naseeruddin Shah, Madhuri Dixit and Huma Qureshi.
