South Actor Dhanush and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan have been trying to make dates meet, but unsuccessfully.
The two have been cast along with Akshara Haasan in R Balki’s film and the makers are finding it tough to make the twain meet and shoot on the sets.
Dhanush has been busy in the south as well as he also realizes that his main bread and butter comes from the south of the Vindhyas. Not long ago Dhanush shot with Akshara’s sister Shruti Haasan for the film 3, which had the famous Kolaveri Di song.
The shooting of the film has just gone underway at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios where both Akshara and Dhanush were shooting and we realized that the Big B could not attend the shoot because he had a much busier schedule than anyone present on the sets of the movie.
This will be Amitabh Bachchan’s third film for R Balki after Cheeni Kum and Paa. He is expected to shoot with Dhanush only in April now.
Amitabh Bachchan, one realizes has the most packed diary this year, shuffling from this film to ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ and its promotion, apart from his ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ shoot. In the midst of this schedule, Bachchan will also have to take out time for Anurag Kashyap’s Tv serial which will start airing by the end of the first quarter of 2014. After these commitments, Bachchan will also be shooting for Umesh ‘Oh My God’ Shukla’s film ‘102 Not Out’ in August. In between all this Bachchan will also need to be promoting those films that release in the interim period like ‘Bhootnath Returns’. And yes, he has also promised his ‘Johnny Mastana’ director Shoojit Sircar to shoot for his film before the end of the year.
We suggest that if filmmakers want to cast two very busy actors together, they should have patience and not hurry into shootings as it will end up increasing the budgets of the movie tremendously.
Budgets of Bollywood movies increase due to large gaps between each shooting schedule and increase in the number of shooting days for films like these.
