‘Kochadaiiyaan’ the new movie of Rajinikanth selected Deepika Padukone as the heroine of the movie. The movie is completed and the post production work is going on. It is spread that Deepika is not dubbing for the film because Deepika is not familiar with Tamil; her voice in the Southern version of the film is dubbed by voice over artist Savitha Reddy. Soundarya, Rajinikanth’s daughter, who has directed ‘Kochadaiiyaan’, said, “Savitha was the perfect choice as Deepika’s Tamil voice. Her character has to ooze grace and elegance, along with dramatic prowess and zest, Savitha is a perfect performer to balance both.”
Deepika also not dubbing for the Hindi version of the film as well. Dubbing artist, Mona Ghosh Shetty, has given voice for the Deepika’s character in the Hindi version. The real reason is not revealed.
